Keystone Ranch Golf Course

Even if you can't stay and play, consider twilight golf at Keystone River and especially Keystone ranch Golf Course.  The Ranch course is in an open alpine valley with more sunshine that lasts longer.

Twilight rates are only $55 after 5 p.m.  that means golfers can stop in at Keystone when driving back from the mountains.  Play twilight golf with a cart at sunset.  Avoid getting in the long traffic lines approaching the Eisenhower Tunnel. After golf enjoy dinner either in the spectacular Keystone Ranch Restaurant or in the more casual reastaurant at the River Course.  Then drive slowly over Loveland Pass emerging east of the Eisenhower Tunnel.

The Ranch Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr in 1980, is away from the base area of the main resort. The 7,109-yard layout is predominantly through a large open valley with fairways running through sagebrush meadows and around a nine-acre lake.

The first two fairways run straight through the lodgepole pines. As golfers climb back uphill they turn onto a ridge that overlooks the wide valley which holds the remaining fairways of the front nine.

These fairways spread out through the valley accented by small streams running along and across the fairways—a Jones trademark.

The Keystone Ranch Clubhouse has an excellent outdoor patio and in the evenings is one of the highest rated restaurants in Colorado.

Call the Ranch Course at 970-496-4250 for details and reservations.
